I think there was no doubt in their minds when Amie and Heath met that they would be spending the rest of their lives together. After meeting Amie, Heath went home and told his dad, “I met a girl, she is beautiful AND she skis!” Little did they know at that point how much the snowy sport would be a part of their lives together.
Heath proposed to Amie at the top of the ski lift at Seven Springs and they planned their wedding to take place on that same mountaintop. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and the mountain top wedding was moved into the lodge to keep the guests and wedding party dry. Even the weather did not dampen their spirits. The ceremony was beautiful and no one would know that the location was a last minute change.
After the ceremony we got a break in the clouds for 10 minutes, long enough to snap some pictures of the bridal party on the top of the mountain where the ceremony had been planned.
Amie and Heath started off their reception with their rendition of the Fox Trot, which was absolutely romantic and fun! The rest of the evening was beautiful including Amie’s dance with her father to Stephen Curtis Chapman’s song Cinderella (which you must look up the lyrics to). There was not a dry eye in the house including mine!
I had a fabulous time with everyone and I wish the two of them many, many years of happiness. Can’t wait to see the honeymoon photos! Thank you soo much for including me in your special day!

… Heath and I got back from Bonaire around midnight on last night (9/21) and the first thing I wanted to do was watch our slideshow … it brought me right back to our special day and I can’t thank you enough for being able to capture all of the emotions and excitement!!!
