Welcome

Welcome to my new blog! Feel free to browse the entries for different shoots and events going on in my life. Please email me with any comments or questions, I'd love to know who is out there checking out my life! If you want to see a post on my old blog please go to the top to "Blog Roll" and select "Old Blog" Hope you love the new look!

The biggest compliment that I get when presenting a couple with their wedding images is that I was able to capture moments and freeze frame memories that would otherwise escape their memory in years to come. Whether it be a small bouquet of dandelions offered to the bride by the flower girl or a tender tear from their ever strong father these moments are captured and gilded in time.

The laughter, the tears, the fun and the loving moments are all gathered together to make one of the most amazing days of your lives. I love to gather all of these emotions and present you with a beautiful story that you can cherish for years to come.

I believe strongly in creating relationships. By the end of they day I want to feel like a friend and this bond will help make both you and your family comfortable in being documented.

Lindsey & Travis 02.20.10

Words cannot even express how awesome Lindsey and Travis are!  They are a photographer’s dream!  I should have known when we shot their engagement session in -10 degree weather that they would be up for absolutely anything.  So when their blue sky day still presented us with 2 feet of snow at the locations they wanted photographs, they were troopers.  Lindsey put on her boots, hiked up her dress and trudged right in up to her knees in the white stuff!  There were no complaints, just awesome photos and awesome people!  I couldn’t have asked for anything better!

The reception was no exception.  When we arrived at the Southpointe Hilton Garden Inn and the courtyard was not plowed…we still just climbed right in to get photos with the sunset.  Once the reception started the room was just filled with excitement and love and FUN!  I don’t know if I have ever laughed or smiled so hard!  Everyone had such a genuine good time and I was thrilled to be a part of it!

Lindsey and Travis..thank you SOO MUCH for including me in your day.  It was a day to remember for sure and I know you got your fairytale!  I wish you so much love and happiness and a terrific honeymoon getaway!!  Now on with the photos!

Lindsey is ABSOLUTELY stunning!

Their church has the most amazing stained glass backdrop!

I am telling you….we had to CLIMB to get onto this hill….but I knew it would be soo worth it!

Seriously a handsome bunch of men…and hilarious on the dance floor too!

AYKM?!?!

Oh and P.S.  What we will go to for the perfect photo!  Thank you Carson for getting me at my best angle!

Sara & Sam – True Romance

Alison & Rhett

Think a Winter Wonderland wedding, complete with icicles, plenty of snow and the Nutcracker princess!  This wedding had all of those things, including Alison who played the lead in the Pittsburgh Ballet’s performance this year!  The Hyeholde was the backdrop to the wedding day and the reception was decorated exquisitely.  It was as if sugar plum fairies had scattered their fairy dust on each place setting and I can only guess that the guests were as excited as I was when entering the room for the first time!

Alison & Rhett have this amazing quiet and gentle connection.  The way that they look into each others eyes can just take your breath away.  I feel so lucky to have been transferred to this wonderland for a day.  I wish Alison & Rhett years of love!

xoxo

The ceremony was by candlelight, what a fabulous setting!
